To me, songs are kind of like bookmarks. Have you ever listened to a song that you haven’t heard in a while, and all of a sudden, all the memories of that time period come back, and you remember what your life used to be like. They’re like milestones in your life.
"I’m still writing about you and you haven’t read a word."
Travis Grandt (via nofatnowhip)
"It is funny how you do not miss affection until it is given, but once it is, it can never be enough; you would drown in it if possible."
Libba Bray, The Sweet Far Thing (via ohfairies)
"But I don’t want comfort. I want poetry. I want danger. I want freedom. I want goodness. I want sin."
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World (via oscill8wildly)
"I want to be alone and I want people to notice me - both at the same time"
Thom Yorke (via fromthedeepestpartofme)
"Some things you’re not letting happen right now because the timing isn’t perfect for you. Some you’re not letting happen because you are very aware of where you are. But all things, as they are happening, are happening in perfect order. And if you will relax and begin saying, ‘Everything in its perfect time. Everything is unfolding. And I’m enjoying where I am now, in relationship to where I’m going. Content where I am, and eager for more,” that is the perfect vibrational stance.’"
Abraham Hicks (via qalbandsoul)
"I really just wanna be warm yellow light that pours all over everyone I love."
Conor Oberst (via fabulousbitch69)
